4 out of 5 stars this is cool if you know what you're doing   July 26, 2010
Mr.Kim
I like my cross bow I don't intend to shoot into wood or a tree small game is what I got it for. I checked the sights they are good for what they are check the retaining screws before using, windage and elevation wheels work just fine. Trigger pull is good squeeze gently don't jerk it you have 80 lbs of pressure on the tang (the tab that holds the string) of course there is the down side the string is cheap and won't last so I'll just make my own replacement. I want to replace the sights with a pistol scope. I can take this cross bow apart in under fifteen minutes so I may replace some internal parts with brass or steel I can't complain but then I know what I'm doing when it comes to weapons don't leave home with out them. If you know what you are doing this can be a fun cross bow to shoot

2 out of 5 stars its and ok crossbow for the price   July 21, 2010

ok so i just got the bow today and in terms of make the crossbow was very well made. but the bolts are very easy to lose. and if u dont get the bolt in the right spot the it just flips out of the bow when u fire it. cocking it is pretty easy. put together is really easy until u string it then u need a second person to help. when it does fire it travels a great distance if u miss ur target. and if u are using a foam target make sure u are standing far enough away from it bc when it hits the target if ur close to it the the bolt will go very deeply into the target. so in all its not a bad crossbow for the price and its very well made but appently regular bow and maybe compound bow will do it for me.

1 out of 5 stars Do not buy from these people   April 30, 2010
Mad as heck

I bought this produce and it shot fine once. The next time shot the cord broke, top sight flew off and hit me within an inch of my left eye. I sent an email to Stay At Home Dads, We Know Games!!!. and have yet to hear back from them. I should take them to court before they put someone's eye out. I might not have written this review if I had heard back from them. Maybe they have an explanation for the near miss. All I know is do not buy this product and do not buy from Stay At Home Dads if you expect some sort of customer service.

1 out of 5 stars piece of sh**t   April 27, 2010

Terrible. Broke within a few hours (string frayed and the trigger mechanism broke (appears to be plastic). Arrows that were included were also terrible - one broke in half pulling it out of the package. Not worth $1.

SIGHTS ON THIS CROSSBOW ARE GARBAGE!!! When adjusting the rear sights the turning wheel broke instantly. Yes, the crossbow seems decently constructed but without decent sights this thing is worthless. It does pack a mean punch but even then the arrows that came with it break with each shot. I wish I would have used my gift cards towards something of better quality. I would not recommend this product.
